What is it?
The 3rd generation Renault Duster is a major overhaul of the SUV. Built on the CMF-8 platform, it boasts modernised styling, improved technology and more efficient powertrains while maintaining the Duster’s rugged appeal.
Exterior:
The new Duster features a sharper and more angular design. The higher ground clearance (up to 217mm for the 4x4) makes it more capable off-road.
Flared wheel arches with cladding enhance its ruggedness providing protection against dirt and debris. Flush rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillar while the roof-mounted storage supports outdoor activities. Prominent skid plates add protection.
Interior:
The new Renault Duster features a completely redesigned interior. Thanks to the CMF-B platform, the New Duster offers better space optimisation, providing more leg- and headroom, for improved comfort and seating for passengers.
Additional storage capacity includes increased glove box space, door bins and centre console compartments. The boot volume has grown to 472 litres (4x2).
The new adjustable steering wheel and seat height settings provide better ergonomics for drivers of all sizes, thereby optimising the driving position.
Technology:
There is a new infotainment system with a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen offering Media Display and Media Nav Live options. A new 7-inch digital instrument cluster enhances driver convenience and is customisable.
The 4WD monitor in the Duster 4WD model is a real-time off-road assistance system that helps drivers navigate challenging terrains, providing key off-road data on the infotainment system.
The 4WD version offers 4WD Terrain Control with five driving modes: AUTO, SNOW, MUD/SAND, OFF-ROAD and ECO.
The Duster range has been upgraded in terms of safety and structural improvements for better crash protection. The New Renault Duster model range is equipped standard with six Airbags.
More safety equipment includes a multi-view camera (with 360 sensors), Tyre Pressure Detector (TPD), Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and an advanced driver assistance system.
Engines:
The new Renault Duster 4WD model introduces a mild hybrid powertrain that combines a new-generation 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a 48V battery and an electric motor (starter generator). The mild hybrid engine, with a 6-speed manual transmission, produces 96kW and increased torque efficiency through the electric assistance.
The Duster 4X2 EDC models are equipped with a 1.3L turbocharged petrol engine, paired with the EDC automatic transmission in a front wheel drive 4X2 configuration. Power output equates to 113kW, with 250Nm of torque.
