What is it?

The latest updates are not a facelift but a series of enhancements across the line-up, including the MG3 Hybrid+. These changes aim to improve everyday usability and modernise the technology offering.

Exterior:

The MG3 now offers two new colour options, Medal Silver and Andean Grey, expanding the palette for buyers seeking greater personalisation. The Luxury derivatives also benefit from upgraded digital 360-degree camera technology, replacing the previous analogue system with sharper image quality and improved visibility.

Interior:

Inside, connectivity has been improved with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto available across the range, removing the need for cables. Luxury models gain two new USB Type-C ports in the front central console, one full-function and one charging-only, enhancing device compatibility. The digital 360-degree camera system further improves driver confidence, while the cabin retains its practical layout and user-friendly design.

Powertrains:

The MG3 line-up continues with its established petrol and hybrid options. The range includes manual and CVT derivatives, with the Hybrid+ positioned as the flagship. The updates focus on technology and usability rather than mechanical changes, ensuring the MG3 remains efficient and accessible.

Price and warranty:

Pricing starts at R269 900 for the MG3 1.5 MT Comfort, rising to R309 900 for the CVT Comfort, R359 900 for the CVT Luxury+ and R469,900 for the Hybrid+. All models are sold with a five-year/150,000 km warranty.
