Jetour has introduced updated versions of its Dashing and X70 Plus SUVs to the South African market, following their initial launch in 2024. The new models bring sharper styling, enhanced comfort and improved performance, while retaining their focus on safety and practicality.

What’s new?
Both SUVs have undergone a facelift with refreshed exterior details, upgraded interiors and advanced driver assistance systems. The Dashing continues to target urban motorists with bold design, while the seven‑seat X70 Plus remains family‑focused.
Exterior:
The Dashing now features sporty red accents and a more refined finish, complemented by a panoramic glass sunroof. The X70 Plus adopts a redesigned front grille with brushed aluminium detailing and new 19‑inch alloy wheels, giving it a more premium appearance.
Interior:
Inside, the Dashing Prime version offers heated and ventilated seats, dual‑zone climate control, privacy glass and an eight‑speaker Sony audio system. The X70 Plus Prime also gains heated and ventilated seats, dual‑zone climate control and engine start/stop technology, ensuring comfort across both models.
Model range:
The Dashing is available in striking colours such as Onyx Black, Slate Grey, Forest Green, Ash Grey, Crimson Red and Glacier White. The X70 Plus shares most of these options, excluding Crimson Red, and provides seating for seven, making it suitable for families.
Engines:
Earlier models were powered by a 1.5‑litre turbocharged engine producing 115kW and 230Nm. The refreshed versions now use a 1.5‑litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 7‑speed dual‑clutch transmission, delivering 125kW and 270Nm. This results in stronger performance and improved efficiency.
Price and warranty:
The Dashing is priced from R429 900, while the X70 Plus starts at R444 900. Both models come with Jetour’s standard warranty and will be available at over 55 dealerships nationwide from next
